SubhanAllah!, Who Ponders Over the Quran like this?
The Imam wanted to teach him how to ponder/reflect over the verses of the the QuranThe Imam said: It has reached me that you do such and such ..
He replied: Yes O Imam The Imam then said: Today when you recite the Qur’an at night, recite as if you are reciting to Me i.e. I am near you when you are reciting, then inform me tomorrow:
The student returned the next day and the Imam asked him and he replied that he could only recite 10 Ajza’
The Imam replied: Today recite the Quran as if you are reciting to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلمHe left and returned to the Imam the next day and said I could not even finish the Juz’ Amma
The Imam replied: Today recited the Quran as if you reciting to Allah azzawajal . The student was astonished and then he left
The next day the student returned in tears with signs of sleeplessness on him
The Imam asked: My son how did you do?
The Student responded crying, By Allah I could not even finish the Fatiha during the whole night !!!!!!
فقال : نعم يا إمامقال له : إذن اذهب اليوم وقم الليل كما كنت تفعل ولكن اقرأ القرآنوكأنك تقرأه علي .. أي كأنني أراقب قراءتك … ثم أبلغني غدافأتى إليه التلميذ في اليوم التالي وسأله الأمام فأجاب:
لم أقرأ سوى عشرة أجزاءفقال له الأمام : إذن اذهب اليوم واقرأ القرآن وكأنك تقرأه علىرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلمفذهب ثم جاء إلى الأمام في اليوم التالي وقال……..
لم أكملحتى جزء عم كاملافقال له الإمام : إذن اذهب اليوم .. وكأنك تقرأ القرآن الكريم على الله عز وجلفدهش التلميذ … ثم ذهب..
في اليوم التالي … جاء التلميذ دامعا عليه آثار السهاد الشديدفسأله الأمام : كيف فعلت يا ولدى ؟فأجاب التلميذ باكيا : يا إمام …
والله لم أكمل الفاتحة طوال الليل !!!!!!
